Snowdonia Mountains & Coast
A warm welcome to the North West of Wales. Here you will find a taster of what's on offer in the local area.
The cottage is ideally situated to visit any of these attractions. From the cottage the majority of these places will take less than 45 minutes by car.
There's plenty of walks around, either by the coast or in the heart of Snowdonia National Park. Please click on the National Park logo or the Wales Coast path for further information.
Mount Snowdon is situated 10 miles away and offers 6 paths to the summit, or the train operates from Llanberis.
If your interested in history, there's plenty of historic sites to explore from Cadw and the National Trust. Cadw owns the majority of castles around and offers a 3 or a 7 day Explorer Pass allowing you unlimited access.
Situated only 200 meters away is part of the Gwynedd Cycle Network. The 12 mile track starts from Caernarfon and continues all the way to the village of Bryncir. Click on the bike for a copy of the route for Lon Eifion.

If your interested in the Welsh Highland Railway then the halt stop is only a
5 minute walk from the Cottage.
Click on the train to get the latest timetable. Trains will arrive at the Halt Stop approximatley 5 minutes after departure from Caernarfon or Dinas.
There's a wide range of new and exciting activities on offer. From Rib Rides to Coasteering, to Zip Wires and Tree Top Adventures are to name a few. There's plenty on offer to make the most out of your break.
The Lleyn Peninsula is a great place to surf. Click on the icon to take you to the West Coast Surf Shop.
The team offers tuition at Hells Mouth between May and November. Wetsuits and Boards can also be hired out separately.
Surf-lines and Boulder Adventures are based around Llanberis and they both offer various activities.
Full or half adventure days specialise in Canoeing, Coasteering and Rock Climbing.

A range of facilities are situated all over the area for fishing. Guests are more than welcome to fish by the riverbank which lies in front of the Cottage.
